摘　　要：中小企业国际化需要通过外部网络获取相关资源,而社会资本在带来利益的同时,也需要花费成本。分别从中小企业的横向和纵向关系探讨社会资本对其国际化结果的影响。通过对4个具有代表性企业的跨案例分析,得出与其它企业的关系网络可以帮助中小企业更好的国际化,而与政府和相关支持部门的亲密关系却对中小企业国际化有负面影响的结论。The internationalization of SMEs （Small and Medium-sized Enterprises） needs to acquire resources by the network outside. But when it brings the benefits, social capital also takes the costs. This study will discuss the effect of the social capital on the result of the internationalization of SMEs, from the view of their horizontal and vertical ties separately. We get the following conclusions through a cross-case analysis on four representative firms： ties with other firms could help SME internationalize more successfully, while ties with government sections would have negative effect on the internationalization.
