摘　　要：《法国中尉的女人》是英国作家约翰?福尔斯最优秀的代表作之一。作品所运用的独特写作技巧以及深刻的思想内涵为日后的小说创作和批评拓展的新的空间。本文从女性主义角度出发,通过女性视角的缺席,神秘性和两性关系的失衡三个方面揭示了男权意识在小说中的体现。The French Lieutenant’s Women is the most influential work of John Fowles. The unique writing techniques and though-provoking views have widened the scope of literary creation and criticism afterwards. This thesis attempts to explore the masculinity in the novel from three aspects： the absence of female perspective, mysticism and imbalance between male and female.
