摘　　要：近代甘肃省是中国西部毒品危害最为严重的省份之一,历届政府都不同程度的采取了禁毒举措,但成效不彰,未能彻底根绝毒祸。新中国建立之初,在短短的几年时间内就将百年毒祸涤荡净尽,体现了新生人民政权的高度责任心和历史使命感。其所采取的诸如彻底实施土改、减租减息,发动人民群众广泛参与,断绝以毒品谋利等措施标本兼治、决绝有力,为迅速禁绝毒祸打下了良好基础。若干措施对今天的禁毒仍有借鉴意义。In recent history, Gansu province was one of the most seriously attacked places by drug in western China. All the governments took different measures to forbid drug but the achievements were not obvious and drug was not completely eliminated. But at the beginning of the establishment of People＇s Republic of China, the government just used several years and completely wiped out drug. It represented the high responsibility and the commitment to historical mission of the government. The measures taken by the government such as land reform, reducing rent and interest, mass participation to avoid getting profit from drug, etc, put a solid base for quick elimination of drug with high efficiency and addressing the internal as well as external problems. These measures still have significance today and worth learning from.
