摘　　要：《啊,拓荒者》是薇拉.凯瑟早期小说的代表作,人与土地之间的关系是这部小说的重要主题,拓荒者与土地之间的沟通与互动构成了小说的重要内容。小说对土地景观的描写,对人与土地、人与人之间关系的探讨,是作家对人与土地之间关系的一次独到而深入的伦理思考。拓荒者对土地的热爱与尊重、对土地权利与义务的履行、对人地隶属关系的领悟,真实地体现了薇拉.凯瑟早期小说里具有前瞻性的土地伦理观。O Pioneers ! is Willa Cather＇ s representative work in the early phase. Relationship between human beings and land is an important subject of the novel. The communication and interaction between pioneers and land constitute the major content of the story. Descriptions of the landscape, explorations of the inter-personal relationship and the relationship between human beings and land, are ethic thoughts of relationship between human beings and land. Pioneers＇ love and respect for land, fulfillment of right and duty to land, understanding of relationship between human beings and land are embodied in Willa Cather＇ s land ethics.
