摘　　要：在研究辽阳区域地质概况、区域内主要断裂带及活动性、区域地震活动的基础上,重点调查了对辽阳城区有影响的太子河等几条断裂带,并预测其潜在地震最大震级,为辽阳市区域城市规划和建设提供科学依据。Based on the study of the regional geology,the activities of the major faults and regional seismicity in Liaoyang region,this paper mostly investigates some fault zones.And these fault zones badly influence Liaoyang city,and the potential maximum earthquake magnitude of the fault zones would be predicted.This may provide a scientific basis for the regional urban planning and construction of the Liaoyang region.
