摘　　要：拉丁化新文字运动是我国近代汉字拼音化改革的重要阶段，是普及文化及扫盲的有效工具。徐特立创办文盲师范，培养新文字师资力量，倡导新文字冬学，积极参与新文字协会的工作，利用拉丁化新文字在陕甘宁边区进行扫盲，为拉丁化新文字的普及做出了积极有效的贡献。The new characters movement of Latinization is an important stage in Pinyin-oriented reforms of characters in modem China and it is an effective tool in popularizing culture and eliminating illiteracy. XU Te-lifounded illiterate normal schools, developed new characters teaching staff, and initiated winter study of new characters. The use of the Latinization helped to eliminate illiteracy in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region, making active and effective contributions to the popularity of the Latinization of new characters.
