摘 要:提出了一种基于长周期波导光栅与多层介质薄膜联合滤波器的Er-Yb掺杂磷酸盐玻璃宽带波导放大器,长周期波导光栅直接制作在波导上,介质薄膜蒸镀在放大器的输出端面上。对所提出联合滤波器的传输特性进行了理论研究,讨论了联合滤波器的透射谱对放大器增益平坦的影响。通过调整长周期波导光栅与多层介质薄膜的相关参数,可以控制Er-Yb掺杂磷酸盐波导放大器(EYCDWA)的增益平坦度。当λ0=1530nm,Lg=4.8mm,Λ=100μm,a=0.9,λ01=1565nm,λc=10nm,p=1时,联合滤波器传输谱与EYCDWA的反本征增益谱相匹配,在30nm带宽内放大器增益抖动在±1dB以下。研究结果对长周期波导光栅与多层介质薄膜联合滤波器的制作具有理论指导作用。A broadband waveguide amplifier based on long-period waveguide grating and multilayer medium thin film filter was proposed.The long-period waveguide grating was directly written in the Er-Yb codoped phosphate glass waveguide and the multilayer medium thin film was coated on the output interface of the waveguide.The light transmission characteristics of the proposed filter were analyzed theoretically.The effects of the transmission spectra of the filter on the flattening gain spectrum of Er-Yb codoped phosphate glass waveguide amplifier were discussed.The degree of gain flattening of Er-Yb codoped waveguide amplifier(EYCDWA) can be controlled by adjusting related parameters of long-period waveguide grating and multilayer medium thin film.In the case of λ0=1530nm,Lg=4.8mm,Λ=100μm,a=0.9,λ01=1565nm,c=10nm,p=1,the transmission spectrum of the proposed filter matches with that of inverse gain of EYCDWA,the flatness of below 1dB is achieved over a bandwidth of 30nm.The results obtained provide a theoretical guidance role on the fabrication of long-period waveguide grating and multilayer medium thin film.
