摘　　要：随着网络技术和信息技术的不断发展,图书馆的信息服务方式也在不断发生变化。本文介绍了网络环境下利用E-mail进行期刊目次通报服务的方式以及RSS技术在期刊目次通报服务中的应用,并对两种服务方式进行了比较。网络环境下,图书馆应利用新技术不断开辟新的服务模式,提升其信息服务水平,为用户获取信息提供更多选择。As the continuous development of network and information technology, library information service modes are also constantly changing. This paper introduces several ways to offering current contents alerting services by e-mail under the network environment and the application of RSS technology in current contents alerting services. And it also compares these two modes of services. Under the network environment, the library should take advantage of new technology continues to open up new mode of service, enhance the level of its information service and provide more choices for users to access information.
