Objective:To explore the effects of captopril on the expression of plasma angiotensinⅡ(AngⅡ),atrial natriuretic polypeptide(ANP)and aldosterone(ALD)in rats with pressure overload.Method:36 SD male rats were randomly divided three groups:sham operation group, model group, captopril group, with twelve rats in each group.Left ventricular mass index(LVMI),AngⅡ,ANP,ALD were measured in each group. Results:LVMI level in the model group was obviously higher than that of the sham group(P<0.05);compared with the model group, the level of plasma AngⅡ,ANP,ALD were decreased significantly(P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusion:The levels of plasma AngⅡ,ANP and ALD were increased in rats with myocardial hypertrophy of congestion heart failure by pressure overload increased. The mechanism of the left ventricular remodeling might be related with the levels of plasma AngⅡ,ANP and ALD.Captopril had the effects on decreasing the level of plasma AngⅣ,ANP,ALD in rat with pressure overload. It maybe concern with redress of circulating endocrine disorder that captopril regress left ventricular remodeling.
