摘　　要：在当前世界人口剧增、资源短缺和环境恶化的情况下,转基因作物作为可以确保世界粮食安全的有效工具,受到越来越多国际组织和国家的高度重视。在多种因素的推动之下,全球转基因作物2008年继续保持强劲增长势头,并且预计到2015年得到更加广泛的推广。及时了解全球转基因作物发展现状和趋势,有助于我们结合实际国情,推进我国农业生物技术发展,造福于全国和全世界人民。Under the circumstances of world population explosion, resources shortage and environmental deterioration, G.M crops, as an effective tool to ensure the world grain safty, is being paid great attention to by more and more states and international organizations. Propelled by various factors, world G.M crops continuously enjoys robust growth in 2008, and expected to be more widely popularized in the year 2015. Keeping abreast of the latest developments and future trend of the world G.M crops may help us to promote the development of our agricultural biotechnology in the light of our actual conditions so as to benefit the people.
