从多元走向一体是民族过程的规律——以汉民族的民族过程为例

摘　　要：从多元走向一体是民族发展普遍的历史过程。一般来说,这还是一个很长的历史过程。这个过程之所以长,是因为这个过程代表了各民族互动整合发展的一个历史趋势,甚至可以说也代表了世界民族发展的历史大趋势。在这个历史过程中,民族与民族之间的分分合合、合合分分必然会形成一些阶段性的民族融合成果,当一个从多元走向一体的民族过程完成后,往往会走进另一个从多元走向一体的民族过程,无数个这样从多元走向一体的民族过程最后才能达到"天下大同"。这应该是民族消亡的历史过程,也应该是人类发展的普遍规律。从汉民族这个案例样本中,我们既可以把汉民族当作中国各民族从多元走向一体,凝聚成为中华民族的一个阶段性的成果,也可以从中窥见中华民族的未来将如何在发展中实现"多元一体"。It is a general as well as long historical process for the development of a nation to go from pluralism to an organic whole. It takes long time for the process because this process represents the tendency of interaction and integration among different ethnic groups. It can even be viewed as the representitive of the historical process of world nations＇ development. In this historical process, the separation and merge among ethnic groups would lead to the national integration, and aider one such national integration completed, the another similar national process would begin＂.The world of great harmony＂comes true following at, er numerous such national processes. On one hand, such national process is the process of nations’extinction. On the other hand, it is the general pattern of human development. The case in point of Han nationality renders us not only a gradual result of the national process for the Chinese Nation, but an approach to preview how the Chinese Nation realizes pluralistic integration along with its constant development.
