摘　　要：信息技术已取代数据处理技术成为信息产业研究的热门话题,业界所面临的问题不再是简单地处理数据,而是如何使用数据。介绍了数据仓库的基本知识和OLAP在数据仓库中的应用,阐述了关系型数据库ROLAP及其特征,最后以数据仓库在电信行业中的应用来介绍数据仓库的具体实现。Information technology has replaced the data processing technology as hot topic of the information research. The problem we face is not how to deal with the data but how to use it. This paper introduces both the concept of data warehouse and OLAP＇s application on the data warehouse,describes the OLAP based on RDB,including the features of the ROLAP. Finally, it introduces the implement of the data warehouse in telecommunication.
