摘 要:为解决移动设备异构性影响视频流媒体应用的问题,提出了一种P2P网络移动流媒体的交错分布转码方法。该方法允许多个固定节点为一个移动设备转码,生成多个交错子流给目标移动节点,子流在移动节点上组装,降低了转码对固定节点计算能力的需求。分析了节点失效对分布转码造成的影响,交错子流可以减弱这种影响,强化数据包丢失错误恢复机制。比较了该方法与多描述编码之间的性能差异,实验结果表明,应用该方法移动流媒体在节点失效和不良无线信道条件下鲁棒性好。To deal with the influence made by the heterogeneous mobile devices to the application of video streaming media, a interleaved distributed transcoding (IDT) method based on mobile streaming media of P2P is proposed. It allows multiple fixed nodes to perform transcoding for a mobile device, generating substreams by multiple parents transmitted to the destination mobile node, assembling substreams by the mobile node. IDT can reduce the demand of higher computing capability which transcoding require fixed nodes to have. The effect of distributed transcoding under peer churn is analyzed. Interleaved substreams can reduce this effect, and enhance the ability of error recovery mechanism to handle packet loss. It also compares the performance diffence of IDT against multiple description coding (MDC). The results of simulation experiment show that IDT makes mobile streaming media have better robustness when the nodes do not work and the communication quality of wireless channel is bad.
