国外典型元搜索引擎特性比较与分析

摘　　要：为了给元搜索引擎的开发者提供建设性意见和建议,以及给普通搜索用户提供使用选择上的指导,对比研究了20个典型的国外元搜索引擎的搜索特性,提出了一个好的元搜索引擎应具有的特性,包括应调用的独立搜索引擎情况、检索结果页面中应包含的信息元素、检索请求提交应支持的处理方式、个性化检索应设置的选项,以及应支持多语言检索等各个方面。To provide constructive suggestions and advices for meta-search-engine designers and guidances of operation selecting for ordinary search users, search features of twenty representative foreign meta-search engines are studied contrastively. It is pointed out that a good meta-search engine must has some features, including which individual search engines should be covered, which information elements should be included in the retrieval result pages, which disposal ways should be supported in constructing a retrieval query, which options should be set in a personalized retrieval, and multilingual retrieval should be supported, etc.
