摘　　要：基于普通电子邮件服务系统的基础，介绍一种新的电子邮件传呼系统．该系统在不影响原来电子邮件系统的工作效能的情况下，利用在线信息检测和Ｃｌｉｅｎｔｓ／Ｓｅｒｖｅｒ技术，根据客户的不同需求，以异步工作方式与电话传呼系统联结，实现电子邮件自动传呼功能．Based on E mail server system, we implement a new server system for E mail to pager. In the server system, the on line messages detection and Clients/Server technology are introduced for synchronous recording and asynchronous notification. The profile for calling mode can be set by the users as pleasure, and it does not cause any effect for E mail server.
