摘　　要：人乳头瘤病毒感染从进入宫颈上皮基底层细胞开始,可能导致宫颈湿疣、宫颈上皮内瘤变甚至宫颈癌,通过采集宫颈表面的脱落细胞,依据其形态学改变指导临床处理。理解人乳头瘤病毒感染与宫颈细胞学的联系是对细胞涂片提出判读意见的基础。Virtually all cervical cancers or its precursor lesions are initiated by,human papillomavirus infections. The virus will infect cervical basal cells in the first instance. The cervical smear is despite using as a screening test by collecting the cells from the cervical surface. Cytologists must use the cellular patterns within smears to predict low-or high-grade lesions in a complementary fashion. The clinician colposcopist ultimately evaluates the data from the interlinked techniques and decides the management. It will help the clinician understand cervical cytology to comprehend the relationship of the HPV and the cellular patterns.
