摘　　要：中国先民非常重视母亲在家庭教育中的作用,尽管历代母教的具体内容会随时代的发展有所变化,但"母德在教,教女为切要"的基本观念始终未变。这一观念,在当今中国社会全力启动母亲教育工程,提高中国母亲素质、培养高素质的国民、建设社会主义和谐社会的进程中具有现实的借鉴与指导意义。That educating her children is mothers＇character and bringing up girls to be a eligible mother is the cardinal significance of family education is an important and constant ideal in ancient China.That mothers occupy a decisive position in family education is an basical idea of culture survival of maternal society,and the social division of labor is that men make houses,and women make homes in ancient China.Ipso facto this social phenomenon,a virtuous daughter today will be a virtuous mother in the future.At the same time,girls get chance and time to acquire an education less than boys,and it means that girl education takes precedence over boy education.
