摘　　要：《草中鸽》是德国作家沃尔夫冈·科本的代表作。对世界与历史的非理性、对存在的荒谬性之反思是贯穿小说的核心主题。本文以加缪的存在主义哲学为背景,从荒谬的表现形式与本质、应对荒谬的态度及叙述风格这三个角度出发,对书中这一主题进行了梳理与剖析,并由此来进一步窥探奠定科本小说基调的认知观与文学观,揭示其独特的语言魅力。Pigeons in Grass is the representative work of the German writer Wolfgang Koeppen. Critical reflections on the irrationality and absurdity of the world, history, and the human existence serve as the central motif of this novel. With the insights of the Camusian philosophy, this paper tackles this motif from three perspectives, namely the essence and forms of absurdity, Koeppen＇s attitude towards absurdity, and his narrative characteristics. As a result, it reveals Koeppen＇s idea of literature and his conception of human understanding which contribute to the aura of this novel. Besides, Koeppen＇s unique language art is also given detailed revelation.
