摘　　要：从社会交际、外语教学的实际出发,讨论了文体学的一个重要的分支——语域理论在英语测试中的指导意义。This paper holds a discussion on one branch of stylistics theory--r-register theory from the aspect of how to apply this theory in the various English tests. It concludes that the register theory helps to solve some of the problems in different.
