摘　　要：公路路网化是我国交通建设的一个发展趋势,各种不同等级的公路系统在一个区域内构成了一个相对封闭的路网系统。如何有效的向在网车辆提供更好的信息服务,成为了制约路网交通服务水平提升的瓶颈。在对短消息技术在路网交通信息发布中的应用作了较为深刻的研究的基础上,提出了短消息技术在交通信息发布中的应用实例,从而更好地为路网提供有效而快捷的交通信息服务。The highway traffic network construction in China is a developing trend.The highway systems at all levels in a region constitute the relatively closed network systems.How to effectively provide the better information service for the vehicles running in the net has become a bottleneck to restrict the road network transportation service level promotion.Based on the investegation for the application of the short messaging service（SMS） in the highway network transportation information issue,an applied case of SMS technology in the highway network transportation information issue is presented,which provides an effective and quick transportation information service for the road network.
