美国高校终身教职后评估的实施效果探析

摘　　要：近年来,终身教职后评估在美国各高校得到较广泛的推行。调查结果表明,被评估者与评估执行者对该评估制度的实施效果均不够满意。该评估在提高教师业绩与促进教师职业发展方面没有起到明显的激励作用,其实施效果与制度目标之间有较大的反差。从制度建立背景、制度内容、制度的执行等几个方面反思其原因,以期对我国高校的教师评估有所启示。The post-tenure review has been widely carried out in American universities in recent years. However,according to the result of some investigation,neither the appraisers nor the people appraised are satisfied with the outcomes of the implementation. Thus,it can not inspire the teachers to promote their productivity. Therefore,there is a big gap between the outcome and objective. The paper analyzes the possible reasons from such aspects as background,content and implementation of the review. The purpose is to provide references for teachers' evaluation in Chinese universities.
