摘　　要：北方游牧民族造型艺术在文化概念上属于工艺文化的范畴,是一种通过某种物质载体表现出来的艺术形式,通过几千年艺术发展的历史积淀,积累了丰富的艺术原理与理论。但是,造型艺术不仅仅是单纯的艺术形式,因为既要表现繁多的造型艺术门类,更要透过艺术表象挖掘深层次的文化内涵。这就需要诸如艺术学、文化人类学、考古学、历史学、民俗学等多学科的理论来支撑,构建一套完整的研究造型艺术的理论体系。The plastic art of the northern nomads which belongs to the culture of craft on the level of concept,is an artistic form manifested through a substantial carrier.With a history of thousands of years,it has developed its own profound artistic principles and theories.However,the plastic art is not just a pure art form,because so many categories of the art and its profound cultural connotation need theoretical support from such subjects as art theory,cultural anthropology,archeology,history,folklore and other subjects to support the theory.So to show its categories and understand its cultural connotation,it is necessary to build a complete theoretical system.
