摘　　要：从对《奥德赛》中的裴奈罗珮与《罗密欧与朱丽叶》中的朱丽叶两位女性的比较,我们可以看到西方女性从古希腊到文艺复兴爱情观念的变化以及她们所承担的文化内涵的变迁。From the comparison of the two women of Penelope,in Odyssey,and Juliet,in Romeo and Juliet,we can get an insight into the Western women＇s attitude towards love from ancient Greek to the Renaissance,and the change of the cultural meanings that is embodied by them.
