摘　　要：针对我国建国以来高校人文社科英文图书资源缺乏问题,将代表我国高校图书馆总体馆藏状况的CAHSL联合馆藏数据与哈佛、牛津与耶鲁三所国际知名大学的联合馆藏数据进行比较,从学科类别与出版年代两个角度分析我国高校1950-2007年间人文社科英文图书缺藏状况,并以此为基础,对我国高校开展英文图书回溯性补缺建设的策略进行探讨。On the lack of the collection of English humanistic social science books in the university libraries since the founding of our country, and by the comparison between the CASHL catalogue representing the general status of collection in the university libraries in our country and the catalogues of the three most prestigious universities in the world, namely Harvard, Cambridge, Yale, the paper analyzes the status of shortage of English humanistic social science books in Chinese university libraries from 1950 - 2007 through two angles, i.e. discipline and the time of publishment, and also discusses the English books retrospective filled building strategies .
