摘　　要：清代学者黄彭年是我国历史上有名的教育家,他是莲池书院历史上唯一一位两次担任院长的人。黄彭年在第二次担任莲池书院院长时,改革了教学方法,增舍古学,提出了"化乡酬世"的教育理念,这在当时是非常具有时代意义的,自此莲池书院开始进入鼎盛时期。Huang Peng-nian,the only one who served twice as the president of Lotus Academy,was the famous scholar and educator in the Qing Dynasty. When he was the president for the second time,he reformed the methods of teaching,added to the ancient science and proposed the new teaching ideas. It was very meaningful at that time. Thereafter,the Lotus Academy began its golden age of development.
