广州陈家祠的社会学意义

摘　　要：在文献史料研究与实地考察的基础上,认为广州陈家祠是一个集祠堂、书院、会馆于一体的建筑。这三种性质的东西汇合在一起体现了一个社会伦理的深层结构———即"家庭、市民社会和国家"三层伦理关系,反映出广州陈家祠在近代广州以及广东具有的特别的社会学意义。Based on both literature and field investigation, this paper claims that the Chen＇s Academy in Guangzhou embodies a deep ethic structure which is reflected through the Academy＇s three functions, namely, as an ancestral hall, conventional private academy and guild hall. The ethic structure also reflects three ethic relations in traditional Chinese society： family, civil society and nation. The Chen＇s Academy in Guangzhou therefore has a special sociological significance in modern history of Guangzhou and Guangdong.
