摘　　要：本文主要介绍了自蔓延高温合成技术的发展和特点,阐述了自蔓延高温合成技术在金刚石制品工业中应用的必要性和意义,分析了自蔓延高温合成技术在金刚石制品工业中应用的可行性,并介绍了国内外的应用研究现状,提出了自蔓延高温合成技术在超硬材料制品中的应用需要进一步研究解决的问题。This article presents the progress and characteristics of self-propagating high temperature synthesis（SHS） technique.It states the necessity and significance of the SHS application in diamond tools manufacture,and discusses the feasibility and current research situation of this technique in China and abroad.Finally it points out the issues that need to be further researched of the SHS applications in diamond tools manufacture.
