摘　　要：《金瓶梅》塑造了众多婢女形象,根据她们的言行及与主人的关系可分为谄媚型、乖巧型、不识时务型、为虎作伥型、有限抗争型等。她们的性格与时代背景密切相关,如自身社会地位的低下、经济上对主人的依附性、封建文化的影响、社会主要矛盾的制约等。此外,婢女形象在小说中还有着较为重要的艺术功能。There are many house maid images in Golden Bottle Plum,also called Jin Ping Mei in Chinese.In terms of their deeds and relations with the host,they can be classified into different types.Some are fond of flattering,some are striking for their lovely appearance,some are insensible in mind,some tend to play the jackal to the tiger,and still some others are rebellious against the feudal society.All of their personality is closely related to the time they lived in,characterized by their low social status,economic dependency on the owner,deep influence by the feudal culture,and restriction by the main social contradictions.More importantly,all of the house maid images in the novel have played a significant part in terms of their artistic function.
