摘　　要：临终关怀对构建和谐社会具有重要意义,是一项利国利民的社会系统工程。但是目前我国临终关怀事业的发展还面临传统观念缺损、社会支持缺失、制度保障缺位、心理支持缺乏等因素的制约。因此,我们应通过开展死亡教育,创新临终关怀模式,完善社会支持系统,强化制度保障,提高从业人员素质等途径推动我国临终关怀事业又好又快发展。Hospice,a social system engineering benefiting the country and the people,is of great significance to the construction of a harmonious society.Presently,the development of the cause of hospice in China is under such constraints as the impairment of traditional ideas,the lack of social support,the vacancy of institutional guarantee and the shortage of psychological support.Therefore,the promotion of the cause of hospice in China should be achievable by means of education on death,innovation of models of clinical hospice,perfection of social support system,consolidation of institutional guarantee and improvement of the qualities of those involved in hospice.
