摘　　要：感染是临床上常见的病症,有效治疗的关键在于快速而准确地进行病原学诊断。近年来降钙素原检测有助于感染性疾病的诊断和治疗,通过检测其血清浓度可早期粗略估计感染病原体的种类、评价感染的严重程度、指导用药及判断预后。其来源、代谢特点、生成及释放的调节、生物学作用机制及临床意义仍处于探索阶段,尚需进一步探索和研究。Infection is a common disease and the key to effective treatment is the rapid and accurate diagnosis of pathogen.In recent years,the procalcitonin has been reported to be helpful in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases,roughly determining the class of pathogens at early period,evaluating the severity of infection,guiding the medication,and indicating the prognosis.Its source,metabolic characteristics,regulation of synthesis and release,mechanisms of biological effects,clinical significance are yet to be explored.
