国外落后地区开发的经验对我国西部大开发的启示

摘　　要：考察世界经济发展史发现,西方国家在其发展的特定阶段或时期几乎都面临不同程度的区域经济发展不均衡的问题,曾经存在着与我国相类似的"西部现象"。为了缩小地区差距,他们高度重视落后地区的开发与建设,在统筹区域协调发展方面进行了富有成效的探索与实践,留下了许多宝贵经验和有益启示。当前,我国在实施西部大开发战略,西方国家促进落后地区发展的许多举措至今都值得我们学习和借鉴。After studying the history of world economic development, it is found out that Western countries almost faced the issues of unequal regional economic development in different degrees during their specific stage or phase and once had the similar ＂Western Phenomenon＂ as China. In order to narrow the regional gap, they paid much attention to development and construction of backward areas, had fruitful exploration and practice in coordinating regional development, and left a lot of valuable experience and useful revelation. At present, China is implementing West Development strategy, many measures that Western countries promoted the development of their backward areas are still worthy for us to learn from today.
