In this paper, based on the ABAQUS software, the authors carry out the finite element analysis consisting of hysteretic performance under pseudo static cyclic load, bearing capacity, stress and deformation of the core of perforated triple-steel tube buckling-restrained brace. The influences of gaps between the core and inner or outer tube and bearing types on the performance of the perforated triple-steel tube buckling-restrained brace are studied. The results show that when the gas is 0 mm,the "confinement effect" and complete buckling appear in the perforated triple-steel tube buckling-restrained brace during the loading process. When the gas is 1-2mm,the "confinement effect" and complete buckling do not appear during the loading process. When the gas is more than 3mm,obvious bends of three tubes appear. The authors suggest that the gaps would be 1-2mm.When the bearing type is pin connection, the BRB would be buckled before yielding. When the bearing is semi-rigid joint, the core would be buckled when the displacement reaches 38mm.When the bearing is rigid joint, the core would not be buckled during the loading process. In the process of the design, bearing considered to be pin connection is safe.
