常压等离子处理对碳纤维复丝拉伸性能的影响

摘  要:采用介质阻挡放电(DBD)常压等离子对3K碳纤维复丝进行处理,功率分别为50W、100W、150W,制作满足要求的拉伸试样件。采用LRXPlus电子材料试验机对试样件进行拉伸性能测试,采用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)观察碳纤维表面刻蚀及复丝拉伸断面,并表征DBD处理前后纤维浸润性。结果表明,经过DBD处理,碳纤维复丝的拉伸强度显著提高;与树脂的结合能力增强,拉伸时纤维抽拔滑脱现象减少,断面趋于平坦;碳纤维表面刻蚀且浸润性得到很大改善。Carbon multifilament of 3K is treated by DBD atmospheric plasma, using power of 50W, 100W and 150W. And tensile samples are made. Tensile properties of the samples are evaluated by LRXPIus material testing machine. The fiber surface etchings as well as the fracture of the samples are shown by scanning electron microscopy, and wicking tests of carbon fibers are done too. The results show that the tensile strength of carbon multifilament increases with DBD treating power increasing. Fewer fibers slips during tensile process and the fractures tends to be smooth because adhesion property of carbon fiber with resin increases. Surface etching of the carbon fiber as well as its hydrophilicity increase.
