摘　　要：包含着丰富历史信息的古地图具有直观、承载信息量大的特点,是古代城市形态研究中的重要资料,其作用非一般文字资料所能替代。但古地图由于难以保存而流传甚少,如何寻找和利用这些有限而珍贵的图像资源显得尤为重要。本文分析了古地图在城市形态研究中的重要意义,回顾其发展与保存情况,简述其保存的地点与机构及目前国内外中文古地图的编目、整理与研究进展,尝试为建筑学、城市规划学和历史城市地理学研究的资料查询与利用方面做一些基础性工作。The ancient maps contained rich historical information are intuitive, carrying large amount of information ,It is important information on the study of ancient cities form ,which can be hardly substituted by the regular text information. However, because of the difficulty in preservation of ancient maps and rarely spread, how to find and use of these limited and precious images is particularly important. This paper analyzes the ancient maps in the urban form the significance of the study, recalled their development and preservation of the situation, outlining the location of its preservation and agencies and the organize and research progress about chinese ancient map and abroad catalog. Furthermore, try to do some basic work for urban planning, architectural and historical study of urban geography information query and utilization.
