摘　　要：农业科技信息资源的有效融合与共享是农业科技信息服务的基石。元数据技术是目前较为成熟的信息资源融合工具之一。介绍了农业科技信息核心元数据标准(包括其元素、属性、扩展原则、应用方案设计方法及流程)。以及基于农业科技信息元数据标准的计算机著录系统,阐述了元数据理论及技术在农业信息领域所发挥的作用,并指出了后续研究内容。The integration and sharing of agriculture information are the basis of agricultural information service. Metadata technology is an effective tool for information resource fusion. This paper introduces ASTICM（Agricultural Scientific and Technical Information Core Metadata） standard, expounds its elements, attributes, extend principles, design methods and flow of application profile, and expounds the computer indexing system based on ASTICM. At the end of the paper, the effects and the outlook of ASTICM are also expatiated.
