摘　　要：《中国图书馆分类法》(第4版)P大类涉及天文学、测绘学、地球物理学、大气科学、地质学、海洋学等多个学科领域。此次修订采用整个大类一般修订、个别类目重点修订的原则,通过新增类目、扩充类目等方式进行了较大幅度的修订和调整,以便于更好地解决《中图法》使用单位在文献标引过程中遇到的实际问题。The P category of Chinese Library Classification（4th edition） involves many subjects,such as astronomy,geomatics,geophysics,atmospheric science,geology and oceanography,etc.According to principles of revising the whole category generally and revising specific categories emphatically,the revision has a lot of adjustments through adding new categories and expanding categories,to resolve actual problems of literature index.
