摘　　要：文化自觉是建设社会主义先进文化的必由之路,是划清文化先进与落后界限的重要标尺。中国特色社会主义先进文化建设必须坚持文化自觉,通过文化自信、文化自立、文化自省,以历史的尺度、价值的尺度、自我的尺度观照中华文化的历史进程,巩固先进文化的主导地位,廓清文化界限。Cultural consciousness is the only road to the construction of advanced socialist culture, and it is also an important ruler by which a line of demarcation between advanced cultures and backward ones can be drawn. Efforts aimed at constructing advanced socialist culture with distinct Chinese characteristics must adhere to the principle of cultural consciousness. Only by way of cultural confidence, cultural independence, and cultural introspectiveness can we consolidate the dominant status of advanced cultures and demarcate the cultural bound- aries in reference to the historical course of the Chinese civilization surveyed from perspectives of history, value and selfness.
