摘　　要：美国女作家威拉.凯瑟《啊,拓荒者!》描述了一些花园形象:花园是自然的一部分,与女性拓荒者有着密切的联系,是女性拓荒者和自然进行沟通、表达自我的场所。花园的形象使我们看到一幅幅和谐的生态画卷。Willa Cather＇s O Pioneers!, which was published in 1913, is a novel full of the flavor of the American western prairie. This paper argues that garden which is a part of nature has an intimate relationship with the female pioneers and it is a place where female pioneers have communication with nature and express themselves. The images of garden present us with a harmonious picture of ecological significance.
