摘　　要：综述了近年来在煤岩分离和分析方面所取得的进展以及在预测焦炭质量和强度方面的应用，指出它们的研究对于煤炭科学与技术发展的重要意义．Coal is an inhomogenerous organic rock. It is very meaningful by using petrography to research its constituents and conversion process. It was reviewed in this paper thatthe new developments on separation and analyses of coal macerals and its use in prediction of cokequality and strength. The importance of its research on coal science and technology was pointedont.
