Charlotte Bronte's novel Jane Eyre has come to occupy a position of privilege in the feminist canon since Jane Eyre demonstrated an individual narrative voice of a female against male authority. The paper tries to discuss female discourse space within the social-cultural structure. It reckons that Charlotte reproduced the Victorian female discourse space as a fable;and meanwhile,Jane Eyre self-constructed a new female discourse space through the process from 'Speak I must' to 'We talked, all day long',which can help to judge the ending from a new angle. This was Charlotte's idea about Victorian female discourse space and pushed the work to become an ideal essay for female discourse space in Victorian era.
