摘　　要：《呼啸山庄》中的凯瑟琳.恩萧是男女两性力量的结合,她与希刺克厉夫具有不可分割性。她是一个"双性共体"的女主人公,对瓦解男权制社会的性别二元对立论有重要的作用。这一形象揭示了西方男权制对女性的改造,不断地激励着女权主义者为追求两性平等、独立自主的生活而不懈奋斗。Catherine Earn Shaw in Wuthering Heights is a combination of feminine power and masculine power.She can not be dissected from Heathcliff.She is a female protagonist of androgyny and plays an important role in deconstructing the binary antagonism in patriarchal society.The image of Catherine shows the transformation of women in western patriarchal culture,encouraging feminists to pursue the equity between men and women and strive for an independent and freedom life.
