摘　　要：黑人种族在美洲大地上的发展延续始终弥漫着悲剧性,因而悲剧意识深深根植于族人心中,所以无数以黑人命运为中心的文学作品都以描绘黑人悲剧的生命历程为主线,探讨种族生存困境。生存困境的多方位展示更是美国黑人诗人、小说家兰斯顿.休斯在作品中所着力注重的。结合休斯小说作品中典型人物的境遇,分析种族生存困境主题在其文学创作中的体现。The survival of Africans Americans on the new continent is full of tragedy,and the tragic consciousness is rooted at the heart of its people.Numerous literary works take African Americans as the focus,describe their tragic life and discuss their survival dilemma.However,to show the survival dilemma in different directions is what Langston Hughes,an African American poet and novelist,wants to emphasize in his short stories.The situation of the typical characters is integrated with their survival dilemma in Hughes＇s short stories to analyze how it shows the race＇s tragic theme.
