摘　　要：搭建式GIS软件开发是一种新的软件开发技术,这种软件开发技术有一套与之相匹配的软件工程方法。本文首先介绍了基于搭建的软件开发过程及特点,然后阐述了搭建式GIS软件开发的基本原理,最后结合MapGIS软件的开发实践,举例说明功能搭建的过程。Building-block oriented programming （BBOP） is a new technology of software development, and there must be a soft- ware engineering method in correspondence with BBOP. First, the process and characteristics of BBOP was introduced. Second, the base theories of building-block oriented software development were expounded. At last, with the experiments BBOP＇ s idea and the process of the development of MapGIS were described in detail .
