摘　　要：基因表达式编程GEP(Gene Expression Programming)是一种基于生物基因结构和功能发明的一种新型自适应演化算法。阐述算法的基本原理、技术特点,并对算法的性能进行了分析;同时介绍了算法的主要应用领域及国内外研究现状;最后探讨了GEP的研究方向。Gene Expression Programming（GEP）is a new adaptive evolutionary algorithm devised on the basis of biological gene structure and function.The basic principle and technical characteristics of GEP are described in this paper;and the algorithm performance is analyzed as well.The research status quo at home and abroad and the main application fields are also introduced.Finally,the future research direction of the algorithm is put forward.
