摘　　要：科尔沁草原上制作马具的蒙古族工匠天下闻名,至今依然有许多手工艺人继承着祖辈制作马具的传统手艺。笔者为完成"蒙古族饰品研究"这一课题,需掌握包括马鞭在内的马具的制作材料、装饰手法、工艺流程等第一手资料。2009年8月～9月间,笔者前往蒙古高原东部的科尔沁草原,就蒙古族马鞭制作及装饰纹样等问题进行田野调查,考察的重点是马鞭制作的使用材料、装饰纹样及手工工艺。Horsewhip is the indispensable object for Mongolian herdsmen. As a nomadic people,Mongolians are as good as other nomadic people in making horsewhips. The author conducted the field investigation of the horsewhip making and decoration method from August to September 2009 with the key investigation area surrounding material,decoration pattern and crafts.
