摘  要:颗粒增强金属基复合材料的强化来自载荷转移强化和基体强化两个方面。在复合材料中适量添加小尺寸的粒子,特别是小于1μm的刚性粒子,则可在Orowan强化、细化晶粒尺寸和提高基体加工硬化率等方面对复合体基体强化项做出贡献,提高复合材料的总强度。TEM用于观察和分析了这种复合材料的显微组织特征。Theoretical models for predicting the strengthening of particle reinforced metal matrix composites (MMC s) are divided into two categories: load transfer and matrix strengthening. As hard rigid elastic particles of less than 1μm are added to the matrix, the strength of the resulting MMC is improved. These small sized hard particles modify the properties of the matrix through Orowan strengthening, substructure strengthening, and work hardening. The microstructure of TiC particle reinforced Ti alloy composites with 0 1 μm diameter hard particles were observed and analyzed using TEM. The mechanism of small sized particles strengthening is also discussed.
