摘　　要：通过对《教师法》的学习,认为做一个合格的高校教师不是软尺子,要以"教学名师"为榜样,要有高尚的师德和真挚的教育感情,要有扎实宽厚、广博精深的知识结构,要创造性地从事教育工作.提出提高学生综合素质的关键是提高教师自己的综合素质的观点.以实践说明,只要教师努力按"让教学和科研两只翅膀都硬起来"去做,一定会做一个合格的高校教师.最后,从如何搞好教学研究和科学研究的体会,提供了一些有益的做法.Based on the study of teachers’ law,this paper hold on the view that to be a qualified university teacher is not a ＂flexible ruler＂.Teachers should take the master teachers as models,should have noble morality and sincere feelings of education,should be the owner of broad knowledge structures and should do the educational work creatively.Also,this paper raises the point that the key which improve the comprehensive quality of students is to enhance teachers’ comprehensive quality.As long as the teachers do well in teaching and studying at the same time,they must become a qualified university teacher.Finally,the paper provides some useful practices which come from the experience how to do well in the teaching research and science research.
