摘　　要：车骑将军是西汉时期重要的武官之一,其执掌有四夷屯警、京师兵卫、征伐背叛、出使宣昭、荐举官吏、重要的迎来送往礼制性活动等。武帝之前主要以功臣与亲信担任,此后主要以外戚担任,一定程度上反映了西汉后期皇权旁落、外戚专权的事实。Chariot and cavalry general was one of the important military officers in the Western Han period,who took charge of such things as pitching police people in the border area,arranging garrison troops,suppressing revolts and rebellions,sending envoys and announcing imperial edicts, recommending officials, and important rituals of reception and send-off. Prior to Emperor Wu, this position was mainly held by people who had achieved greatly and henchmen.Afterwards,it was mainly held by maternal relatives. This, to a certain extent, explains why imperial power was transferred to maternal relatives in the latter half of Western Han dynasty.
