摘　　要：无线终端的连续工作时间受电池容量的制约,产业界一直在寻求通过采用节能机制来延长终端工作时间的方法。介绍并分析了802.11基本节能协议PSM,探讨了针对其不足而提出的几种典型改进协议,阐述了节能技术所面临的困难,指出了节能研究的发展方向。Because of the continuous working time of wireless terminals without recharge being restricted by the capacity of batteries, the industriy has being trying to use power-saving mechanisms to increase their longevity. This paper introduces the basic power-saving protocol PSM defined in 802.11 and discusses several typical modified protocols basied on it. At last, points out some difficulties in using power-saving techniques and also introduces some research directions in this area.
