摘　　要：《里斯本条约》将欧盟经济界定为一种"具有高度竞争性的社会市场经济",这是欧盟首次将"社会市场经济"这一术语写入欧盟的条约。本文通过对社会市场经济的理论和实践的回顾,以及在欧盟层面关于社会市场经济争论的分析,认为将欧盟将经济模式界定为"社会市场经济"将使欧盟经济模式与美国经济模式的差异更加凸显,并且促使欧盟内部的子模式朝趋同的方向发展。The EU defines its economic model as a 'highly competitive social market economy' in the Treaty of Lisbon. This is the first time that the term 'social market economy' has ever been formally incorporated into the EU treaties. By reviewing the theory and practice of the social market economy and analysing the debates surrounding it at the EU level,this paper draws a preliminary conclusion that by defining the EU's economic model as a social market economy,the differences between the EU and American economic models will become more distinct and the sub-European economic models of the EU member states more convergent.
